National Novel Writing Month. Better known as NaNoWriMo to us or WriMo if you're that lazy. 30 days and nights of trying to crank out 50,000 words. It's hard, it's frustrating, but if you happen to finish, it's exhilarating. And if you don't finish, there's bone crushing disappointment waiting for you. XP Just kidding. But I haven't explained it very well, have I? And I'm too lazy to so click here to go to the NaNoWriMo website if you wanna know more.
By now you're probably thinking "what the hell it this thread for?" It's for people participating in the WriMo to post about their WriMo stories, updates on how the word count is going, post cover art, etc. and if you're not in the WriMo, you can still encourage your fellow members, demand more excerpts and if you're feeling generous, make them COVER ART! Or just, y'know, procrastinate. So get to it!

You can click that pretty red web badge to go to my NaNoWriMo profile. Check out my word count, read my novel summary, your wish. My novel is actually four novellas. Last year I tried writing an epic and failed, so this year I decided to go with something new. If you want to know anything about my novellas, just ask in this thread, or if you want to read an excerpt, again, ask.

Synopsis: The Millside High Chronicles One small town. One high school. Four different stories. Let the chaos ensue.
Part 1 - All the World's a Stage Talia Smith had involuntarily created a spot for herself at the bottom of the social ladder in her first few weeks at Millside High School. The spunky teenager is forced to bite back retorts when being ridiculed by the “populars” until she can’t take it anymore. But when Talia falls HARD for the school's most popular guy, she makes life a lot more difficult. For everyone.
Part 2 - Valentine, Valentine Tomboy Ashlynn Valentine is the star of her school's cross country and track & field teams. She also the only girl there. Despite the fact that most of her friends are guys, she's happy with her life until BOOM! She's hit by Cupid's arrow. The object of her affection? Robbie Campbell, her best friend. The problem is that he's head over heels for Zara Ashton, Ashlynn's best female friend. And he wants Ashlynn's help in making Zara fall for him. As much as this confused tomboy wants to be a good friend to Zara and Robbie, her own feelings keep getting in the way. Will Ashlynn escape the clutches of the demon known as love and help her friends out? Or will she collapse under the pressure and do something really, really stupid? Yeah, the latter is probably likely.
Part 3 - Newsworthy Parker Stanhope and Peter Summers have been the best of friends since preschool. When they join Millside High's newspaper staff, the two find that their lives take a turn for the better... and worse. For Parker, this means attracting attention from the school's most popular guy and dealing with her parents upcoming separation. For Peter, this means questioning his sexuality and losing his best friend. Can Parker and Peter stay true to their waning friendship and themselves?
Life has finally settled down for Parker Stanhope and Peter Summers. Yeah, so you'd think. The excitement isn't over for Millside High's reporter duo. They get assigned to a strange new story which must take them to an uncharted town, Blackhall. There, the two friends find a lot more than what they bargained for and have to ask themselves one very important question. Is one story worth losing their lives?
Part 4 - Take A Bow Chasity Storm is an average girl. She hates it. She wants to stand out, to be noticed by her peers. It's this wish that compells her her to try out for the school's production of "Beauty and the Beast". Chasity ends up with the role of a lifetime, but it isn't what she had expected. Now she has to put up with a diva co-star, a stage manager who hates her, and the occasional lighting operator who wants to incapacitate her. Can Chasity rise above it all? Or will the theatre life be too much for her to handle?
