Personality:

▪ cruel.

as all black dwarfs are, ginarrbrik is no different, harboring a cruel and pitiless nature. he is heartless to almost everyone, and is the type of creature who wouldn't give so much as a hoot about anyone besides himself. he's most brutal to the narnians that decided to pit against his master, jadis, and humans, especially humans, though. his huge distaste toward any kind of human from anywhere makes him proves that he is far from trusting or parleying with humans and is even more cruel, and ginarrbrik goes through great lengths to show them that they are hated. in battle, ginarrbrik is merciless on his foes, and won't hesitate to kill and turn the knife—several times, that is. ginarrbrik is known to even kill a badly wounded.

▪ selfish.

what other way is better to describe a brutal, heartless creature than use a word like selfish? ginarrbrik is absolutely greedy by all means. his selfish personality seems to work great with his cruelty. ginarrbrik cares only for himself, and thinks that everything should be the best—or, at least decent—for him. this is why ginarrbrik is one of the many black dwarfs that favored side with the white witch. she ruled narnia for the time being, and as her right hand dwarf, got at least a better treatment than those narnians he thought foolish. this creature is ready to grab whatever that falls in reach. ginarrbrik doesn't strive for whatever he wants, for one. ginarrbrik just waits for something to pass by, and he'll take it without lifting a finger. for another thing, ginarrbrik doesn't share. heck, he probably doesn't have a clue about what sharing means. whatever he has, ginarrbrik believes it is his alone, and it doesn't matter if the other person is in need.

▪ loyal.

although his first thought is very likely toward himself, ginarrbrik does have a spark of loyalty to his master, and in this case, it's jadis. he is prepared to do the white witch's bidding, protect her, and even protect her name. ginarrbrik is very keen in satisfying his master's needs, and will do anything that jadis orders him to do. of course, it's because he knows what his fate might be if he didn't. but, although the black dwarf is willing to protect and defend his master, of course he isn't going to take an arrow for her. he isn't that noble, you know. but overall, ginarrbrik the dwarf is decently faithful, but more for his own good.

▪ cowardly.

okay, so, you'd know that all types of bullies like ginarrbrik has a different side inside, right? well, this black dwarf is no exception. although ginarrbrik acts tough and cocky around the white witch or with a great army behind his back, he's inwardly a coward and wimp. ginarrbrik usually can't stand up for himself, which is primarily how he ended up as jadis's servant, and will back down if he's facing enemies with a higher number, or even alone. how he ever got into battle was backstabbing and working behind the army lines, which he prefers. ginarrbrik isn't too brave, and is afraid to die in battle, so he sticks in the back and lets others surge into battle before him. ginarrbrik seems to enjoy tormenting or even murdering an already-wounded person or beast, which is highly not noble, but who was he to care?

Description of Physical Being:

▪ face.

ginarrbrik has dark black eyes with bushy gray eyebrows above. his eyes are usually squinted, giving him a devious, and somewhat bored look. his cheeks are a bit chubby, and ginarrbrik's skin is wrinkled in a lot of places. ginarrbrik also has a long beard, as a lot of his species do, on his chin.

▪ body.

this black dwarf his about the average height and weight of any creature of his species. he's short and fairly heavy, and sometimes, his puffy coat gives him a look of a few more pounds or so. you could say ginarrbrik has a strong body figure, but, then again, it could look rather wimpy. ginarrbrik has firm legs and arms, enabling the use of an axe almost twice his weight. the dwarf is rather fat, as to speak.

▪ hair.

i suppose black dwarf explains all. ginarrbrik doesn't have hair on his head, well, unless you counted the hair along the sides of his face. instead, ginarrbrik has sported a long beard. his beard's roots are whiteish and hues a brownish red and dusky gray further down. the beard stretches along his cheek, and reaches to his knees. ginarrbrik's beard is usually filthy and tangled, since he hardly cares to groom it.

▪ clothing.

ginarrbrik has a red coat, lined with dirty white polar bear fur, which he prefers of all coat furs. the cuffs of his long sleeves are lined with gold fabric embroidered with gold thread in two different designs, although they can hardly be made out. normally on his head is a red cap with two long wings and a gold tassel attached to the point of the headwear. as for footwear, a sensible choice ginarrbrik had made was a pair of high laced boots with the curve at the pointy toes. it's not surprising that his fingers are heavily jeweled, since he's outragously greedy for anything worth of possession.

▪ weapons.

his main choice of weapon is his whip, which serves two purposes: driving jadis's sleigh and as a weapon. however, as an added bonus, ginarrbrik is seen carrying around a small, rusty knife. at times, ginarrbrik will be equipped with an axe and other times, a bow and quiver of arrows.
