Personality:
Maleficent is malicious. She enjoys causing pain and watching people suffer. But evil isn't what she's all about. Maleficent likes to run in the snow and dig, which is very canine of her. She's loyal and courageous, but also self centered. She'd rather save herself than her friend, or even her leader. She's cunning, but she hoards her ideas like precious gems, never to be shared with anyone. This is why most people think her to be stupid. She blindly follows most orders, but shies away from anything that could harm her. Maleficent personality is complex and her way of thinking is often twisted. She loves the winter, but she doesn't like the White Witch. She respects Aslan, but hates everything he stands for.
Description of Physical Being:
There's no such thing as a pure white lynx, but Maleficent comes pretty close. She has the typical short tail and characteristic tufts of black hair on the tip of her ears, the same as all lynxes. However, her fur is thicker to keep her warm in the winter. Her coat is also lighter, a whitesh grey with brown spots all over her body. Her paws are bigger than a human hand and padded, which makes it easier to walk on snow. Maleficent is an average sized lynx, weighing about 50 lbs. She has 27 teeth instead of the usual 28 since she lost one in a fight.
History:
Maleficent was born before winter came to Narnia. She was the only surviving cub of her litter. Unfortunately for her, her mother drowned when she was just a few weeks old. Lonely, scared, and hungry, Maleficent wandered around Narnia, stealing food from other Narnians and generally living a miserable existence. And then snow fell. Maleficent found herself slowly adapting to her new environment. Her brown coat became white, her paws grew larger. Surprisingly, she liked this new environment better. She spent most of her days frolicking in the snow. Then one day, Maleficent stole some food from the White Witch's castle. She was caught, of course, and forced to choose between torture and imprisonment or serving the White Witch. She chose the latter. At first, she hated it, but as the years progressed, Maleficent found herself enjoying causing pain and suffering. She still harbored a hatred for the White Witch though. In her years of servitude, Maleficent learned to put herself first and blame all the happy people for her problems. This outlook on life led her to commit many heinous crimes. Maleficent rather enjoys her life now and wouldn't change it for anything. However, even if she wanted to do a 180 and turn good, she just wouldn't know how. She doesn't know what "good" means anymore.
