hi thar. um. okay then. i was playing with gimp for awhile, to shrug off spare minutes, and while i was messing around, i came with this:



now. before ya start pelting me with stones and tomatoes. lol. i know, i know. it's not teh most lurveliest piece of art out there. in fact, it stinks to hell (sorry about that. ^^, i'm assuming you're thinking. Dx although it's a better piece i've made in awhile, it ain't good. xP it went sorta smoothly teh whole way... but i especially had trouble with how to blend teh cat in (ya see how he just... pops out? lulz)... and the text, it's font and where to put it, so i bailed on it. 3x

so. anyways. when i got that, i began playing around some more with the colors, layers, glows, and whatnot, and made two more manipulations (i was still bored at this point. 3x) similar to that. teh foxy one, imho ish mah fav. ^^



FOXY-WOXY! teh cutest of all angels and cute paws!!! still had no idea about teh text. Dx



just something i threw together... using a tutorial. i was to lazy to crop out an animal piccie, so did this. xP

;3 C+CC? (uhm. comments+constructive criticism. ;]) and the reason i'm doing this ish cuz if others think i'm fit enough with graphics, i may be more... public with them. ^^

anddd, don't be shy to give me harsh criticism or a bad rating... or your honest opinion of this trash. xP i'm use to it, and it helps me improve. ^-^ plus, i enjoy reading tips and criticism others give me than, "OMG!OMG!OMG! LIEK ROSIEEEEEE! YOU ARE GODDDDDDDDD! MY HEROOO! LIEK OMG OMG OMG!!!!!!!!11" -grins- even if it's so darn true. >xD

These are so pretty!! As far as blending in the kitty, I don't know what Gimp's controls are, but use a smudge or blur tool if there is one. If not, it still looks fine The fox is my fave too, though the tree is also lovely!

i tried with the smudgie tool, but i'm a horrible smudger, and it's frame went looking like blak. i'd have to take a tip or two from a smudgie masta before i continue with that. Dx but, i haven't thought about the blur, though. thankies. ^^ it just looks... weird. i'd say teh foxy ish better blended into the background than my first. xP

i was dying of boredom, so i just experimented around with gimp and made these. pfft. and they are fairly big, and was stretching the page, so they're in links. not that i'd thought ya'll care. lol.

german shepherd

i played with the blurs and smudges, as julie suggested, and, in my opinion, the german shepherd doesn't pop out... like it just fell from the sky. xD i also played with the burn tool, so i guess he fits in well with the lighting. plus, i've learned how to make shadows ! yippeee ! so, i suppose it looks more realistic. x3

but still, i guess i could have gotten a german shephie that looks fitting into the background. i found one with no background on google. i was lazy and didn't feel like cropping. lol.

skunk. was really bored at this point

same with the blurs and stuff, but i think it ended up popping out more, unlike my first one. i forgot the shadow, and, well, due to my overwhelming laziness, i don't feel like going back and fixing it. xP

overall, this is my least favorite of the four. but i like how my hair smudging went.

polar bear manip

ugh. this turned out worst than i had imagined. but it was somewhat okayish. i lurv polar bears, and white made it easy to work with. the text was the worst part. -headdesk- was so museless there. Dx

but, overall, i think i like it, and i'm so in love with the font. <3 and it was the most fun to do. :D

and, omgosh, i luvved it sooooo much. and, if you really know me, i don't normally love my stuff, cuz i know they aren't any good. but this one struck me as major improvements... at least to me. of course, i was lazy, and didn't bother too much with the lighting and shadow (ick) and stuff, but after i stared at this manip for a full four minutes, i thought i might pull graphics off. yayay !

hmm... am i overreacting ? uh. yeah. sorry about that. xP sooooo... tell me what cha think about it, kkay ? i'd die for constructive criticism (hmm... probably not. a, "OMG!!! ROSIE!!! YOU ARE MAJORLY AWESOMMMMMMMME!!!" could work. -grin-).
